Summary of the Position: Nutramax Laboratories is looking for a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to lead the revenue generation and support efforts of the organization, with specific responsibility for sales, marketing, and customer service for all products, vet science and consumer.  The CGO will play a pivotal role in leadership, the development of new accounts, all aspects of marketing, and customer experience, to ultimately drive revenue growth and profitability. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • This person will be a member of our Executive Leadership Team and will be involved in the highest level of decision making in the business.  As a senior-level professional, the CGO must be a dynamic leader with a successful track record of forward-thinking strategy, team development, synergistic collaboration, and execution.
  • Responsible for the necessary operational fundamentals within the sales, marketing and customer service departments that will promote a solid foundation for growth. This includes implementing or improving the necessary people skill sets and processes.
  • Growing our market share through revenue growth in products, customers, and market segments with accountability for overall revenue generation.
  • Develop brand portfolio architecture, vision and growth strategy, business models for product development, product optimization, and business implications from consumer insights; responsible for P&L for all brands
  • In conjunction with the Executive Leadership Team, develops long-range strategic plans, objectives, and tactics for our portfolio of brands ensuring alignment of company goals and vision
  • Guide the teams on customer strategies and implementing strategic plans to grow market share in key channels while maximizing and expanding in new and existing markets
  • Inspires, coaches, and develops individual and team capabilities by championing individual strengths and team collaboration, aligning teams around strategies and decisions, and empowering leaders to elevate and inspire their teams, solve problems, and navigate conflict
  • Structure functional teams to best support a clear operating model; ensures team skills evolve with the changing consumer, technological and competitive landscape, strategic alignment and decision making, while breaking down functional barriers that impede agility, flexibility and speed to market




  • Provide structure and leadership to a growing organization in a manner that captures the entrepreneurial spirit of the organization, while remaining process oriented for future growth
  • Proven track record of business development, planning, project organization and execution in view of aggressive timelines by leading a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with sales of consumables/consumer packaged goods in all trade channels (wholesale, retail, online, etc.)
  • Experience managing a comprehensive product portfolio at varying stages of their life cycle
  • Previous Senior Management Team/C-level leadership experience
  • Must understand Amazon and digital retailers
  • Strong digital marketing experience

Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor's Degree with an MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of Executive-level Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Proven track record of effective execution in sales and/or marketing responsibilities in middle-market or larger organizations.
